Dr. Emanuele is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She earned her medical degree in 1988 from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed a General Surgery residency at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, PA before completing a Hand and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship and a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine–Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Emanuele is the Director of Plastic Surgery and an attending staff member at Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. She is also on the staff at Southampton Hospital. Her professional memberships include:
